This Is Chiapas Mexico!

Deep In The Real Jungle

Chiapas is a big state in Mexico! it has everything, mountains, lakes, jungle, forest, etc, etc. And this time we explore the cold part, San Cristobal De Las Casas. For getting there we go trough the real deep jungle, we drive up and up and up, the view is breathtaking as the curvy roads are dangerous, and for a long time feels like there is no end.

Here are some pictures of the way:

A Church Town

San Cristobal is full of churches, it is one almost in every block, this give us an idea about the religious foundation of the city, something that has been left  in the past, because now every church looks pretty empty. One thing I love about this place is the poetry inclination, you read a poem almost in every corner, there is even a poetry coffe shop.

I personally love this place, the vibe is clean, people are so kind, it is beautiful and very cheap, I like it so much that I would like to come back and live there for a while.

Very much recommended.
